It is said that good food creates great memories; hence “Sumati’s Delicacies” was started to serve food cooked with sheer love. My kitchen has a profound impression of my granny’s style of cooking food with love and perfection. She believed - cooking is not just about mixing and serving. It starts with, carefully picking up the best quality ingredients, mixing the right ingredients at the right time and all this while maintaining the best hygiene in the kitchen. She cooked with a minimalist kitchen set-up without any fancy appliances; and the happiness on her face while watching the entire family relish her cooked meal was something I grew up observing. This small venture is a sincere effort to revive this heritage of traditional recipes as well as serve food; which we have adopted from various cultures outside India and have gained popularity as if our own. Granny was a perfect example, wherein she used to bake cakes and desserts equally best as our traditional food. Therefore the kitchen is named after her name and which is “Sumati’s Delicacies”.
